His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Kharj, sponsored the graduation ceremony of a new batch of trainees from the Food Industries Polytechnic (FIP), held at the institute’s headquarters in the governorate. The event was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Yusuf bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, along with several officials from both the public and private sectors, as well as CEOs of major food companies in the Kingdom.

The ceremony marked the graduation of 354 trainees, who are set to assume various roles in leading food manufacturing companies through employment-linked diploma programs. Specializations included farm technologies, food production technologies, technical accounting, and equipment maintenance.

HRH the Governor of Al-Kharj emphasized that human capital is a fundamental pillar in advancing the development of the industrial sector across all fields, underscoring the need to prepare qualified personnel in specialized disciplines aligned with labor market demands. He praised FIP’s role as a leading vocational institution in the Kingdom, contributing to localization efforts in the food industry sector. He also commended the graduation of 354 trainees and their readiness to enter the workforce, highlighting ongoing efforts to develop national competencies and enhance their professional preparedness.

For his part, the Minister of Education commended the institute’s efforts in aligning with labor market needs through its specialized programs and expressed his gratitude to the companies that contributed to the success of this initiative.

Abdullah Al-Badr, Chairman of the Board at FIP, stated that the ceremony embodies the Kingdom’s vision for industrial localization and reflects the strong partnership between the public and private sectors.

Ibrahim Alegaily, CEO of FIP, explained that the institute operates within an integrated system aimed at supplying the food industry with qualified national talent that meets the expectations of the local job market.

The ceremony featured a documentary showcasing the institute’s key achievements and success stories of graduates who secured specialized roles in leading companies. It also included the launch of two new specialized programs designed to strengthen the food supply chain sector: Sales and Logistics. The event concluded with the honoring of outstanding graduates and the taking of commemorative photographs.

FIP stands as one of the Kingdom’s leading national models in applied education and vocational training, operating under the programs of the National Center for Strategic Partnerships. The institute focuses on developing specialized skills in the food industry sector and localizing human capital in collaboration with several domestic companies.
