In a significant step aimed at enhancing national competencies and localizing the food industry in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Food Industries Polytechnic. The signing ceremony took place under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Governor of the Makkah Region, and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal Al Saud, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, as well as His Excellency Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources.

The Food Industries Polytechnic extends its heartfelt congratulations and sincere blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud — may Allah protect him — and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the occasion of the Kingdom’s successful bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.

The Food Industries Polytechnic has signed a training and localization agreement with Aquat Food Industries Group, known for its association with Albaik, marking a significant step toward qualifying and empowering national talent in the food manufacturing sector.

The Food Industries Polytechnic held an honorary ceremony for outstanding participants in the Level 2 and Level 3 Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) course, in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.

The Food Industries Polytechnic participated in the “Saudi Food Summit”, one of the largest specialized events in the food industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.

His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, inaugurated recently the Al-Kharj Industrial Forum, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Kharj, and under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Riyadh Region.

His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Kharj, sponsored the graduation ceremony of 351 trainees from the Food Industries Polytechnic (FIP) for the academic year 2022-2023. The event was attended by Abdullah Al-Badr, Chairman of the Polytechnic’s Board of Directors, and Abdullah Al-Marzouq, Deputy Governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC).
