After the completion of this Qualification, the trainees are expected to be able to:

Select, use and store Tapping- threading tap & dies.
Able to perform 5 basic Weld joints (Butt, Tee, Corner, Lap, Edge)
Being familiar with taking measurements using meter tape, steel rule, Vernier caliper & micrometers.
Using manual metal arc welding equipment.
Inspect and Replace the oil seal in Manual Transmission.
Visual defects from welding beads.
Replacement of the bearing from gear shaft using bearing hydraulic puller and Hydraulic Press.
Able to identify the weld defects from MIG & MAG (Metal inert gas welding & metal active gas welding).

Prepare flat butt weld on 5mm plate Mild steel.
Complete maintenance & repair procedures of the list of Bakery, dairy Processing & farm Equipment.
Able to cut metals (up to 5mm metal plate) using oxy-acetylene equipment.
Use measuring instruments to measure electrical quantities and testing.

Apply Lock out/Tag Out procedure to work safely.
