Food Industries Polytechnic (FIP) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) during its participation in the Global Labor Market Conference 2026, held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh.

The memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation in the training and qualification of Saudi professionals and the development of specialized human capabilities. It also seeks to support the sustainability of the labor market and enhance the quality and safety of the food industry in the Kingdom.

During the conference, FIP also signed a localization agreement with Almarai Company to qualify, train, and recruit Saudi youth for employment in the food and beverage manufacturing sector. The agreement includes specialized training and employment programs designed to enhance the readiness of national talent and meet labor market needs.

Ibrahim Alegaily, FIP Chief Executive Officer, stated that the conference represents an important platform for strengthening strategic partnerships and aligning training outcomes with labor market requirements.

He emphasized that the signed agreements reflect the integration of efforts between regulatory authorities and the private sector to develop human capital and support the growth and sustainability of the food industry sector, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
