His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources (MIM), Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, praised the prominent role played by the Food Industries Polytechnic (FIP) in developing and qualifying specialized national cadres in the food manufacturing sector. He affirmed that the institute is a vital pillar in enhancing national human capabilities and improving the quality and efficiency of workers in this crucial sector.

This came during his speech at the Saudi Dairy Forum, held in Al-Kharj and organized by the National Industrial Development Center in collaboration with the Al-Kharj Chamber of Commerce.

His Excellency noted the remarkable development Al-Kharj has witnessed in the food manufacturing sector, making it one of the leading governorates contributing to meeting the Kingdom’s needs for dairy products and derivatives, as well as poultry, meat, and related supply chains.

The forum featured a keynote session titled “Towards an Integrated System for Developing the Dairy Sector,” in which the Chairman of FIP, Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Badr, participated. He emphasized the importance of joint efforts across various entities to develop the sector and stressed the need to provide qualified national cadres to support production and distribution processes and achieve sustainability in the field.

FIP also participated in the forum with an informational booth showcasing several success stories of its graduates who have demonstrated excellence in the food industry market.

On the sidelines of the forum, the institute signed a cooperation agreement with Dallah Consulting Company, aimed at supporting and developing national talents working in the food sector and enabling them to meet the growing needs of the labor market.
