In a significant move to localize technical jobs in the Kingdom, the Food Industries Polytechnic and the Hail Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with several private sector companies, have launched a major initiative aimed at providing over 100 specialized job opportunities in the food industry.

The initiative kicked off with preparatory meetings attended by Ibrahim Alegaily, CEO of the Food Industries Polytechnic, and Musab Al-Rakhis, Secretary General of the Hail Chamber, along with representatives from key food companies in the Hail region. The team also conducted visits to several local factories to better understand their hiring needs.

This initiative aligns with national efforts to empower Saudi talent and enhance workforce participation, particularly in strategic sectors such as food manufacturing, a core focus of Saudi Vision 2030.

It is worth noting that the polytechnic recently signed an agreement with the Hail Development Authority and the Learning Support Association, aimed at launching specialized initiatives to support and upskill Saudi talent in the Hail region.

Through targeted training and development programs, the polytechnic plays a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities of national talent within the food industry—efforts that recently earned it the prestigious “Basmah” Award for its contributions to workforce localization in the food manufacturing sector, reaffirming its commitment to national development and sustainable employment.
