Saudi Food Summit: Polytechnic Joins One of the Kingdom’s Premier Food Industry Events
The Food Industries Polytechnic participated in the “Saudi Food Summit”, one of the largest specialized events in the food industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.
During its participation, the polytechnic highlighted the kingdom’s efforts to develop the food sector by offering specialized training programs that contribute to qualifying national cadres to work across various areas of the industry.
The polytechnic also showcased a range of initiatives implemented in collaboration with national and international companies, promoting innovation and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies in the food industry. Among these initiatives were advanced training programs in food manufacturing technology and quality management, enabling trainees to acquire the skills necessary to keep pace with rapid developments in the sector.
Participants praised the role of the Food Industries Polytechnic in strengthening public-private sector collaboration and providing job opportunities for Saudi youth through advanced training and qualification programs. They emphasized that the Polytechnic plays a vital role in achieving Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the national economy and increase reliance on local talent across various sectors, including the food industry.
