After the completion of this Qualification, the trainees are expected to be able to:
Support in managing poultry rearing operations.
Maintain accommodation for poultry birds.
Assist in managing poultry layer unit operations.
Handle birds in poultry sheds.
Aid in managing hatchery operations.
Provide feed and water to the birds.
Harvest eggs and maintain post-harvest cleanliness.
Contribute to maintaining the health of the birds in the poultry facility.
Clean tools and equipment and maintain them according to established workplace procedures.
Ensure and follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols on the poultry farm.
Entry Requirements
Admission to the diploma in Poultry Farm Technologies does not require any prior qualification in Production or any experience of working in poultry production field.
Trainees should have at least completed high school with good results in English, Biology, and Chemistry minimum 80% marks.
Age: 18–22 years.
Pass the admission test and interview.
