After the completion of this Qualification, the trainees are expected to be able to:
Demonstrate fundamental accounting concepts and principles, procedures & standards, accounting scheme & cycles
Apply the mechanism of sales and purchases, preparation of financial statements, current and fixed assets, bank reconciliation memorandum, investment in securities, short and long terms liabilities
Support in identifying and providing reports to management to discover trends and make the best decisions
Demonstrate competence to manage receivables and control procedures implemented to ensure outstanding balances are timely collected and bad debts are minimized
Follow and perform accurate and timely recording of fixed asset register, monitor fixed assets movement with complete documentation process and disposal or retirement of assets as per procedure
Assist in various internal control activities as implemented by the company to prevent, detect and correct errors while doing daily business operations
Perform operation and maintenance of software, tools & equipment and machinery using hand tools and comply with company policies and procedures
Organize files & folders, search information on web browsers in the windows environment and use Microsoft office applications for creating documentations for their academic and professional requirements
