Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Madinah Region and Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Development of the Date Sector, and in the presence of His Highness Prince Saud bin Nahar, Deputy Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Development of the Date Sector and Chairman of its Supervisory Committee, the Food Industries Polytechnic (FIP) participated in the Madinah Dates Season event.

During the event, His Royal Highness the Governor of the Madinah Region witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Center for Palms and Dates, the National Industrial Development Center, and FIP.

The MoU aims to develop and qualify national human capabilities working in the palm and date sector.

The agreement supports stronger integration and cooperation among relevant national entities and the development of specialized training programs that address the needs of the palm and date sector. It also aims to enhance the readiness of Saudi talent and support employment and localization opportunities in one of the Kingdom’s vital and promising sectors.

The MoU reflects FIP’s commitment to expanding its strategic partnerships, aligning training outcomes with labor market needs, and contributing to the development of national human capital in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to develop key economic sectors and enhance their long-term sustainability.
